F5 Full Face Mask

Overview

The Full Face Mask (F5) channels airflow non-invasively to a
patient from a positive airway pressure device such as a
continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or bi-level system.
The Full Face Mask (F5) is:
• to be used by adult patients (> 66 lb / 30 kg) for whom
positive airway pressure therapy has been prescribed.
• intended for single-patient re-use in the home
environment and multi-patient re-use in the hospital /
institutional environment.

The single layer soft cushion is specially designed to eliminate bruising and creates a perfect fit to the contours of the face. The flexi groove design on the cushion’s sides and lower edge automatically adjust to the bridge of the nose. It allows 3600 Ball and socket elbow rotation. This model maintains minimum facial contact reducing the appearance of CPAP strap marks on the nose. It has a compact design with a 3-part assembly for effortless assembling after cleaning and quick click frame attachments for effortless reassembling after cleaning. It is available in small, medium, and larger size.

Dead space is the empty volume of the mask up to the swivel. The dead space of the mask varies according to cushion sizes but is less than 225 ml.
