• Nasal pillow mask are cushions that seal at the base of the nostrils and are help in place with a stretchy strap that goes around the back on head. • It reduce air leakage since they direct air into the patients nasal passangers. They work well for patient with a beard or mustache. • Nose breathers. • It lots of facial hair that with other mask types can prevent the mask from making seal with your skin • Active sleepers • It may cause nasal dryness or nose bleeds. • More natural airflow than nasal pillow as the deliverd pressure isn’t direct. • Better for higher pressure setting than nasal pillow. • It may experience higher incidences of nose bleeds or nasal dryness due to direct air pressure.
