A pulse oximeter is a device to monitor user’s heart rate and oxygen saturation level in blood Non-invasively. ChoiceMMed model is more convenient and simple model to take the readings within fraction of seconds. It has dual color OLED display spo2, PR and pulse bar. There is no need of power source, works in 2 pcs AAA alkaline batteries. There is additional option for Bluetooth facility 4.0 for data transmission around 10m and Android App to manage data in your phone. Single switch power button to operate and will off automatically if not in use after 8 sec. There is a battery low indicator option also provided.
Accuracy will be 70-100 % of sp02, 30-250 bpm, & 0.2- 20%.
It can accommodate widest range of finger sizes, so easily applicable for families, clinics and wards.
• A pulse oximeter is a noninvasive method of monitoring person’s heart rate and oxygen saturation level in blood. The saturationvalue should always be above 95%. • Oxygen saturation is the amount of hemoglobin present in your blood. It gives the outline of our health and breathing capacity. • If a person has low or high saturation levels means, he is having some breathing difficulties, if it continuous more than 10 minutes, in normal working environments , he need to assist a doctor. • Fingertip pulse oximeter can be used in our day to day life during Exercise, activities of daily living, while travelling, for homecare patients, recently for covid -19 patients, to check their saturation level alternatively,ICU, Ambulance & wards. • It works based on SPECTROPHOTOMETRY principle that will compare the relative absorption or emission values of different wavelengths of red and blue light. • Oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin have different light absorption rate. Oxygenated hemoglobin absorb more infrared light and deoxygenated hemoglobin absorb more red light. • For accurate result a person’s right hand’s middle finger is suitable to take readings. Since it directly connects the blood flow with our heart. • Make sure of clean and dry hand before we take readings. • This Measurement of readings will be taken in every 0.5-1 seconds that averages out the readings over the last 3 seconds. • Pulse oximeter display will give pulse rate value and oxygen saturation values with heart beats waves. • Because of its small size and weight, it is more pocket friendly and travel friendly. • No need for electricity and works under batteries.
